Chou Yu-Hao, the renowned designer behind Novelty Sprouts, has transformed the concept of office space by infusing it with nature and unique elements. This innovative design breaks free from traditional constraints, allowing businesses to showcase their international perspective and create a more vibrant work environment.

The lobby of Novelty Sprouts is a testament to the designer's commitment to minimalism and elegance. The polished marble floor and silver fox stone wall create a striking entrance that sets the tone for the entire office. A showcase at the end of the hall proudly displays the company's achievements, while a see-through glass wall allows guests to catch a glimpse of the International Conference Hall, taking the visual experience to the next level.

One of the standout features of Novelty Sprouts is the incorporation of natural light throughout the space. Roller blinds are strategically used to soften the light and create a warm ambiance. The addition of a half outdoor courtyard, a tasteful bar section, a lounge, and a meeting area further enhances the connection with nature. The tree pattern on the main wall cleverly combines hollow design and reflecting grey glass, creating an illusion of dimension in the bar section.

Functionality and flexibility were key considerations in the design process. The conference room is equipped with nonstationary Audio/Visual equipment and a soundproof mobile partition wall. This allows the room to be divided into two separate spaces, providing versatility for different types of meetings. The grey back-painted glass used for the partition wall adds a touch of elegance and expands the perception of space through reflection.

Novelty Sprouts is a testament to Chou Yu-Hao's meticulous attention to detail and creative problem-solving. The project presented numerous challenges, from breaking up the original space to matching interior textures. However, the result is a harmonious blend of textures, including stone and quartz, that create a diverse yet cohesive atmosphere.

Completed in November 2019 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, Novelty Sprouts has received accolades for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award recognizes designs that showcase creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
